TERMS OF SERVICE

By using the X-Wing Alliance (“XWA”) website at xwing.life you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

XWA is a voluntary, not-for-profit fan community. The site is operated by community volunteers. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Lucasfilm Ltd., The Walt Disney Company, Atomic Mass Games, Asmodee, or Fantasy Flight Games. All Star Wars trademarks and copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.

Sign-in is via Discord or Google OAuth. You are responsible for activity on your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at contact@xwing.life. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.

When you post on the forum or otherwise contribute content, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or target individuals or groups; engage in hate speech, slurs, or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or any similar protected characteristic.
• Post sexually explicit material, gore, or content harmful to minors.
• Post content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights, or that you do not have the right to share.
• Spam, flood, advertise, or use the site for commercial promotion without prior approval.
• Attempt to bypass moderation actions, evade bans, or impersonate other users or staff.
• Probe, scrape, automate, or otherwise stress the site beyond ordinary use, or attempt to compromise its security.
• Post anything illegal under applicable law.

Moderators may remove content and may warn, suspend, or ban accounts at their discretion. Persistent or severe violations may be reported to the relevant identity provider or authorities.

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant XWA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content as part of operating and promoting the site. This licence ends when you delete the content, except that copies may persist in backups for a reasonable period and that quoted excerpts in other users’ replies may remain.

You confirm that any content you post is yours to share or that you have permission to share it, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.

The XWA name, logo, and original site content (other than user-submitted material) are the property of the X-Wing Alliance and its contributors. X-Wing the miniatures game, Star Wars, and all related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used here under fair-use principles for the purpose of fan commentary, criticism, and community organisation.

If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, contact us at contact@xwing.life with enough information to identify the work and the location of the allegedly infringing material.

You may stop using the site at any time and may request account deletion (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate access to the site or to a specific account at any time, with or without notice, where we believe these Terms have been violated or where we are required to do so by law.

The site is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be available, error-free, or accurate. Information posted by other users represents their views, not ours. Your use of the site is at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XWA, its volunteers, and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
