Weapons Systems Officer + Synchronized Console

If a ship (example: Anakin in the republic Y-Wing) attacks another ship with munitions, spends the lock during the attack, then gets his lock back after attacking, can he then spend his lock to pass it to a squadmate within range? Getting differing opinions in the X-Wing rules-questions discord channel. I could see it either way, but am not certain how it would be ruled.

AMG answered this question in a previous post on their forum, and ruled that you could pass the lock, but it apparently doesn't follow correct rules logic from what people are saying in rules-questions
