Scum Cad and Remotes

Can scum Cad Bane pilot use his pilot ability to pass tokens to a remote? Assuming the attack hits, etc.

No, Cad Bane cannot use his ability to transfer a token to a defending remote. By rule, remotes cannot gain any tokens except for locks, and Cad Bane's ability cannot transfer a lock token.
