Dash (Freighter for Hire) and Ahsoka crew interactions with gas clouds.

If you activate the ability on Ahsoka's card but remain at range 0 of a gas cloud, is it still
possible to take a target lock action as part of your normal perform action step? If so, would Dash maintain the target lock going into the engagement phase?

In addition, what would happen if an enemy tried to lock Dash on a gas cloud?

Ahsoka Tano's ability causes the ship to ignore obstacles until the end of the Activation Phase. While Dash Rendar is ignoring obstacles, he can acquire locks and be locked even while at range 0 of a gas cloud.

Once the Activation phase ends and Ahsoka's ability is no longer in effect, Dash is at range 0 of the gas cloud and he can no longer acquire locks or be locked by other ships. This effect does not break any locks maintained by Dash, or any locks on Dash that are maintained by another ship.
