Does this also include the r0 attack of the ship that has equipped the intimidation upgrade?

No. A ship that is defending at attack range 0 cannot have its defense dice reduced by enemy ships.

Note that certain abilities (like Arvel Crynyd, RZ-1 A-wing) allow a ship to treat its attack range 0 primary attacks as though they are attack range 1, which would then permit the use of abilities like Outmaneuver.
