We're in the middle of tournament/event season with the latest batch of points, I'm curious how everyone is feeling about the state of the game right now?

I am going to admit that I was nearly out of XWing until this most recent points update. XWA has definitely brought some life back to the game for me in the same way that Starviper Mk.II did for me at the end of XWing 1.0.

Some opinions I have after playing around with Scum for a few weeks:

• Fennic Shand crew is Very Good... maybe Too Good. Free Lock, Free Strain after both movement and movement actions whilst still generally allowing you to have your action step is Very Strong.
• Targeting Matrix is Pretty Good. It is worth more on Multi-Attack platforms. I think I would still take it at 5.
• Thweek is So Much Fun :) Very versatile with that delicious balance of risk vs reward. Looking forward to keep playing around with different builds here.
• Retrofitted Autothrusters are interesting. They are a challenge to make work on platforms that can not do 3 Turns, though Starvipers can really make use of them. This is a fun upgrade to experiment with.
• I'm not sold on Blindspot Targeter. It's worth being careful about pricing, and I need to experiment more with it, but might be a touch expensive.
• I'm a little concerned that Parting Gift might be too cheap. You can manually set it off by running over a rock or Electronic Baffle... that seems like an easy way to dump an enormous area denial/mass damage, especially if you have something like Deadman's equipped. Admittedly, I have not tried it properly (devices tend not to be my style)... but it seems oddly cheap.
• The new Turret seems to be doing its job well enough without being overbearing in my area.

This has rejuvenated me on the game :)

Lol, points changes right now.

Xisor... I was a fan of him before, I put him as neck-and-neck with Thweek as the best Viper... But now, in my mind, there is no question. Xisor is the best Viper. That Loadout buff is Great.

Targeting Matrix nerf is probably right, as is Burst Lasers.

I like that Vessery got some points Loadout, as well as some of the Interceptors.

...what did Han do to get pumped by 2 points? Nobody flies him around here, so I don't know.
