Fan Made Battle of Hoth for X-Wing, including Ground Combat

Dear X-Wing Community,

On May the Fourth, we announced after 10 years we came back to release a campaign book that expands on the community rules we made adding ground combat to X-Wing. Now we are pleased to announce the release of "Battle of Hoth" campaign book, which is available for free to download.

It includes a campaign with 5 scenarios + an epic battle. Experience tow cable takedowns on AT-ATs, Viper probe droid and infantry platoons in the trenches. Will you suceed at defending Echo base while the Rebel GR-75s escape or will the Imperial commander destroy any evacuation attempt? All of this is possible in our rules.

There are many pages of printable components, cards and terrain pieces. For the moment this is all in the style of 1.0 X-Wing, since that's our preference. But we are excited to get this in your hands and hear your experiences!

Will this be compatible and inline with HOTAC Ground assault, and Rebel Dawn (Hotac MOD) it would be good to be as seamless as possible. is all.

I believe HOTAC Ground assault is more compatible with 2nd Edition and current rules. Our rules are based more closely with the original 1st Edition, but it will have elements of later editions added where applicable. Fan made rules are always going to be unique in the areas that are not officially covered. You have the choice to try whatever you like.
